Kitty Mach


Kitty completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology at The University of Western Australia and The University of Western Sydney. She currently works at Brilliant Life Services as a Provisional Psychologist and Behavioural Support Practitioner. Native to Western Sydney, Kitty enjoys helping and empowering people from a diverse background and is passionate about using evidence-based approaches to support people.

She has experience working with clients with autism, gender dysphoria, anxiety and depression from a CALD background and speaks English and Cantonese fluently and Mandarin moderately.”

Hi! My name is Chonny, I am a social worker who has experienced working in Aged Care and Disability sectors for more than 10 years. I’m currently undertaking a master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as working towards achieving accreditation for Mental Health Social Worker. I’m passionate about supporting people with physical disabilities and psychosocial disabilities to have a better quality of life. Brilliant Life Services has given me the opportunity to learn and work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.  It has been amazing to work with such an amazing team to focus on the way to improve the person’s behaviors of concern through positive behavior support intervention. Not only that! I absolutely enjoy supporting the participants to work on achieving their goals and inspiration.


Behaviour Support Practitioner

My name is Tamara ( Tammy ) received my degree in Speech and Language pathology from Universidad Mayor in Chile, where I also did her diploma in Children’s Neuropsychology and Master’s in Emotional Education and started her 12-year journey as Language and Communicational therapist. During the last few years, she moved to Sydney Australia, received training in feeding therapy, language acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) and finished her Master’s in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Over the past 12 years she has lectured in different universities overseas, trained final year speech and language pathology students during their internship, worked with children, teens, teachers, and families with a neurodivergent member with conditions such as intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. With a special interest in the autistic spectrum, as an autistic herself, Tamara is passionate about helping and learning how to improve human life using strength-based practices emphasising people’s self-determination, autonomy, compassion, and human rights.

Hi! My name is Abira, I have recently graduated from my Masters of Social Work at The University of Melbourne. I am excited to be a new addition to the team at Brilliant Life Services as a Behavioural Support Practitioner. I enjoy working with children and young people, as that has been the environment that I have worked in for the past five years. I practice with a client centred approach because I believe that it is important to always prioritise the clients goals and vision. I pride myself on being an empathetic and patient person and I look forward to meeting any new clients.

Hello, My Name is Shabina and I am delighted to be working as Behaviour Support Practitioner at Brilliant Life Services. I really enjoy working and providing great service to all my clients of different age groups and respect diversity. I’m dedicated and passionate towards my clients by providing assistance to improve their quality of life and facilitate to maintain their desired goals. My role will ensure a high-level quality of service delivery that is responsible to the specific needs of each individual. Having worked in the Disability Sector as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, I understand the value of accessible support which upholds the dignity and rights of people. I also understand the diversity in which people communicate their needs and desires.
As part of the Brilliant Life Services Team in Cairns, my approach is to collaborate with each participant to see what is working for them and what is not.
To create a safe space for participants to express their concerns, I take a calm and gentle approach in my commitment to supporting others to make their choices and decisions toward achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.

I have dedicated the past 6 years of my career working with young adults and children . I am passionate about assisting clients to enhance their quality of life and supporting them to reach their desired goals. My approach is to collaborate with each participant in a calm and patient manner so they can express their goals and concerns. I look forward to assisting individuals in making connections within their community and empowering them to live the life they want.

Hello! My name is Yuvraj Singh Gill (Yuvi). I am honored to be working at Brilliant Life Services as a Behavioral Support Practitioner.
I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology. I have been working with young adults, children and their families from the past 6 years.
I enjoy working with others and assisting in any way I can. I would consider myself lucky even if I can assist 1 person live a healthy happy life. I plan to collaborate with all parties involved to optimize the care provided to our clients.

Shirley is a bubbly and optimistic person who loves to help others. She is a recent honours graduate in psychology at the University of New South Wales. In her spare time, Shirley likes to play piano and watch her favourite TV shows. She is excited to become a member of our team and looks forward to providing behavioural support to her clients.
