She currently works at Brilliant Life Services as a Provisional Psychologist and Behavioural Support Practitioner. Native to Western Sydney, Kitty enjoys helping and empowering people from a diverse background and is passionate about using evidence-based approaches to support people.
She has experience working with clients with autism, gender dysphoria, anxiety and depression from a CALD background and speaks English and Cantonese fluently and Mandarin moderately.”

Hi! My name is Chonny, I am a social worker who has experienced working in Aged Care and Disability sectors for more than 10 years. I’m currently undertaking a master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as working towards achieving accreditation for Mental Health Social Worker. I’m passionate about supporting people with physical disabilities and psychosocial disabilities to have a better quality of life. Brilliant Life Services has given me the opportunity to learn and work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. It has been amazing to work with such an amazing team to focus on the way to improve the person’s behaviors of concern through positive behavior support intervention. Not only that! I absolutely enjoy supporting the participants to work on achieving their goals and inspiration.

TAMARA
Behaviour Support Practitioner
My name is Tamara ( Tammy ) received my degree in Speech and Language pathology from Universidad Mayor in Chile, where I also did her diploma in Children’s Neuropsychology and Master’s in Emotional Education and started her 12-year journey as Language and Communicational therapist. During the last few years, she moved to Sydney Australia, received training in feeding therapy, language acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) and finished her Master’s in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Over the past 12 years she has lectured in different universities overseas, trained final year speech and language pathology students during their internship, worked with children, teens, teachers, and families with a neurodivergent member with conditions such as intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. With a special interest in the autistic spectrum, as an autistic herself, Tamara is passionate about helping and learning how to improve human life using strength-based practices emphasising people’s self-determination, autonomy, compassion, and human rights.

Danait is a friendly and driven student and business professional with a strong background in management. She is an advocate for proactive communication and empowering both internal and external customers. Danait is a graduate of Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Business Management and is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Wollongong. Danait is determined to make a positive impact to local communities by assisting families to reach their goals through our service.

Hello, my name is Progya and I am a new Provisional Psychologist at Brilliant Life Services. I completed my Bachelors and Honours in Psychology at the University of NSW. I have the most experience working with children and adolescents but welcome seeing clients of any kind. I love working with people to make positive and lasting changes in their lives and I practice with kindness, empathy and an open mind.

Shirley is a bubbly and optimistic person who loves to help others. She is a recent honours graduate in psychology at the University of New South Wales. In her spare time, Shirley likes to play piano and watch her favourite TV shows. She is excited to become a member of our team and looks forward to providing behavioural support to her clients.
